本論文實作雲端視訊學習平台，平台架構分成視訊教學平台與課程管理平台。視訊教學平台的功能包含:視訊傳輸功能、音訊傳輸功能、文字聊天功能、螢幕分享功能、檔案上傳且分享至螢幕、電子白板。課程管理平台則提供教師刊登開課資訊、上傳上課資料供學生下載、課程討論區、學生選課、類似社群網站的通知服務等。透過課程管理平台，學生能夠得到教師上課資訊，並且進行問題討論與選課的動作，教師則可進行開課以及開啟視訊教室。 視訊教學平台部分主要透過Flash ActionScript撰寫視訊播放器，再利用Red5多媒體串流伺服器處理所有視訊、音訊和聊天文字的相關訊息。課程管理平台利用EsoTalk為基礎進行實作，採用

MVCL (Model-View-Controller-Language)的設計架構，此種設計架構能讓網頁的資料與視圖分離，而且網頁內的所有文字皆為動態抓取文字檔，因此便於多國語言的製作，也簡化程式開發流程和增加網站的維護性。除了上述系統主要功能外，本論文還使用ThinkPHP架構撰寫的API，專門負責執行課程管理平台與視訊教學平台之間的訊息交換處理和檔案轉檔的工作。
